I believe we should provide information publicly on the current value of chips where the guidebooks do not list the chip. I believe open discussion is to be preferred when someone contacts me in the capacity of manager of CASINO [the list service] about an unlisted chip. When inquiry is made of me, I do privately respond where the chip is listed in one of the guide books but when I can't find information on a chip, I think it most appropriate to share the question among the greater and more knowledgeable community of collectors. At least that is how I feel about it. So I will continue to repost requests for value information on chips or tokens for which I cannot provide privately a reasonable answer.
