Hi John; See my corrected post regarding price of chips and my mistake between Playboy & Claridge $2.50 chips. However, the story of their worth are comparable. Chips like other collectibles are worth whatever someone else is willing to pay for them. That in turn causes catalog authors to raise or lower their estimates in their respective catalogs. I can tell you that relatively few of the Playboy $2.50 chips with olive letters are around. (Probably less than 30-40) This olive letters chip was from the back up Playboy rack. I purchased several of them when I bought out Bill Borlands Atlantic City inventory many years ago. Most of the then current chips I cashed in at the casino cage and held onto the obsoletes . I would hate to tell you how much I paid for them over ten years ago, but it was considerably less than what they are bringing today. Regards, Archie
