Can anyone identify the chips below? Yes I know that they are from Mirage, LV and that they are probably roulettes. But they are not listed in the TCR. They supposedly came from someone who worked at the Mirage years ago and died recently. Here is the unusual part. The black chip is clearly a Chipco including the start of the "white ring disease". The other two are identical except instead of the usual textured finish they have a flat finish (almost like a BJ chip) and it appears that there is a varnish applied. Was this an early attempt by Chipco to eliminate the white ring problem? Also note that there is no table number on these chips. Has anyone seen these before?
