I was told by a former collector in Deadwood, that some of the casinos did have the big chips since they hoped the $5 State wager limit would either not go into effect or be repealed. Several of the clubs had tournaments and perhaps that's why they had them. Or maybe the CEO learned about our club and the maniacs who populate it and ordered a special set of chips to take our cash.
