When I was in Philadelphia several years back, as an old coin collector, I made a point of it to visit the U.S. Mint. (No, not The Mint in Vegas.) I was somewhat disappointed with their hospitality. At the end of the tour, unlike the brewerys in Milwaukee and St. Louis, these people did not give any free samples!

In the tour, you view the manufacturing floor from an upper level enclosed balcony. It was interesting to look down where the machines are churning out quarters, dimes, nickles and pennies. And over in the corner is an employee standing by the soda machine yelling, "Hey, anybody got any change..."
