I was looking through Greg stellar page when I stumbled into the Texas page and then to the Gold Star Casino. The question I have is this: "Is the 50c chip from Galveston?"

The reason I ask is this. For my eighteenth birthday, my father took me to the Gold Star in Galveston (probably not unlike the good old days when fathers brought their sons to Galveston's Red Light District for an 'education' <g>). I remember playing and was so excited thinking I was up hundreds of dollars. When I went to cash in, I realized that what I thought were $50 chips were actually 50c chips. I remember them being similiar to the other chips, not nondescript blue 50c only chips.

Any ideas?
