Bob -- there's actually no limit to the number of eBay accounts you can have (according to Jo King of eBay's "Safe Harbor"). When I had my dispute with "Bookdealer", she told me there was no limit to the number of accounts one could have and provided me with all of his account names.

She later advised me: "It is not against eBay rules for users to have multiple registered accounts, as long as those accounts do not interact in any way - bidding or feedback." What happened here clearly appears to be a violation of the rules, even by eBay's rather limited ethical standards.

I wonder how she'd respond to a complaint about this?? ----- jim o\-S
