After a week of trying to cut and paste the 98 digit code they wanted me to post to get a new password.....and failing; John Yee came by with youthful knowledge and decided my phone lines were tooo old to have anything as modern as an Apple I, much less the stuff I have now. Don't even know the names of all the components. It was easier flying an F-104 for Taiwan and Chinese avionics than learn how to scan, cut and paste, and decode passwords just to get to an auction I have no businss in bidding. Anyway, John avoided our buying a new house with better phone lines and I finally have a password, id and acceptable e-mail address. Now, I find out all the equipment my son left us before going back to Harvey Mudd is outdated, too slow, and inadequate.....so I will have to spend another $8000 to save money bidding on really "great" steals on EBay? Haven't seen one yet. I can still remember chipping before the internet. You stack some chips and I stack some chips and we trade. Days of the past..... Thanks, for all your advice and help; it made me realize that internet chipping may be for the young & rich.....Mel
