Steve, you are 100% right with your opinions on the convention chip and new collectors. I think the answer is like I said 2,000 to 2,500 and a small limit per person. Dealers will not stock up so heavy if the count is this high. Dealers with lists to serve will always try to get what they need regardless of the amount issued. There is a little difference between a dealer serving a list and a dealer speculating. Regardless the Orleans will need to cooperate with a higher count.
Don's point about LE not being on the tables, are not really chips is well taken also. I personnaly see that all Fiesta LE's are on the tables and some stay there. I think many casinos do this. Some don't. That does not alter the fact that they were made for collectors. They were, and will continue to be as long as they keep disappearing. At the present it is part of our hobby for the ones that want them. I collect them, but I don't think I am the only one.
