There we're still LE's issued this year that could only be won from the tables. The Richard Petty chips from the Boyd group are a prime example. Sam's Town would sell from the cage on the Monday following the NASCAR race, BUT they only had chips that had been cashed in from table play. The Fremont wouldn't sell any from the cage, you HAD to win them at the tables. The Stardust limited their cage sales to one chip per person. I was able to buy what I needed from both the Main Street Station and California. ...and the minimum issue of any of these chips was 2500. One set of LE's, different rules for obtaining them, and some of the rules still included winning them.
