After meeting you last weekend, I passed through CAL-NEV-ARI on my way back to Tucson, AZ. This was on Monday, around 3:00 pm. When I went inside, I asked the bartender if it was true that they had a 30th anniversay, $5 chip. The woman stated that they were not out yet. When I said "Oh really" she replied that if I wanted to, I could wait around for some other person (a female) to get back, and maybe she would get me one. That was my second visit to CAL-NEV-ARI, and as before, although the people were pleasant, it seemed that they did not take to strangers (outsiders). In fact, on my first visit, all I wanted was a single $1 token. The owner (an older gentleman) required me to buy-in and play a machine. I bought-in for 10, ended up with 11, cashed in to and left with one. Anyway, the return time of the other woman was too vague for me (my family was waiting out in the car) so I had to leave. Maybe next time I will be lucky enough for the table to be open (or at least for the "woman" to be back).
