Jim; The reason the person sitting next to you at the Vegas BJ or Poker tables is from New Jersey is becasue Jerseyans know a good bargain when they see one. Vegas is cheap to visit! Can't get a hotel room on a weekend in Atlantic City for under $100 per night.... and they want a minimun of two nights stay. Might as well go to Vegas for under $400 for three days... and that includes airfare! Also, A.C. casinos are closing up their poker rooms left and right and putting in slots. Lounges, and lounge entertainment acts, are rare in A.C. Most all of them have been converted to slot parlors. Viva Las Vegas!!
What A.C. has that Vegas doesn't is the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, the magnificent Boardwalk, free beaches, a change in seasons every three or four months, Miss America, Toms River Little League World Champions, the biggest CC>CC Chapter in the country, and roulette tables where they give you half your bet back on even money bets if 0/00 come up. In Vegas, they take all of your money on even money bets when "green" comes up and then they get upset if they are missing a few roulette chips. <vbg> What's the rule on the riverboats regarding the 0/00 rule, Jim? Happy collecting, Archie.
