Gene; The reason A.C. is such a huge popular area of casino chip collecting is because 1/3 of the population of the United States lives within a 300 mile radius of Atlantic City, according to the A.C. Convention & Visitors Bureau statistics. That's a hell of a bunch of people! The reason the Convention and Visitors Bureau chose the 300 mile radius is because that distance from A.C. is within an easy day's drive. Did you know that A.C. is the most visited city in the country, that more people visit A.C. than Disneyland each year? True, many of them are repeat visitors and day trippers. How about this one; A.C's twelve casinos gross more revenue than all of Las Vegas casinos combined.... only to be outdone by the #1 money making machine...... Foxwoods! Amazing, huh?
