Mike, what Archie said is the best advice; if you can get some personal help from someone, its much easier than trying to learn from a scanner booklet or from the "help" listings that might come with your scanning software.

Don Lueders was a tremendous help to me when I was struggling and trying to figure out scanning, so I simply passed along the knowledge I had gotten from Don when I visited Archie.

Of course, now that he's learned how to scan and post, just think of all the nice scans of rou----e chips, saved to preserve history, that he'll be able to post. <VBG>
