Does anyone have any idea who (what) A.E. Albert is? As you can see, the chip depicts some kind of 50th-Anniversary: 1896 to 1946. In fact, it's the only autographed (logo?) Crest & Seal chip I know of with a year on it. I'm wondering if A.E. Albert was (is) a department store in the Midwest, as it was from the Chicago area that I purchased seven different colors a few years ago, but the woman I bought them from had no idea as to whee they were from. I do know that the chip has some historic value, because US Paying Card Co. (the manufacturer) didn't produce any "Special Order" (Crest & Seal) chips during WWII, but did start up again in '46, only to break-down the Poker Chip Division shortly afterwards. So, these just may be one of the last USPC Crest & Seal chips made. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John Benedict
