Hey Paul -- I'm with you! It must be a "purist" thing. Or maybe it just an historical accuracy thing. However, I simply CANNOT understand the nearly endless thread about Rene's chip. On current chips, appearance means as much, or more, to me than location. That is why I bought some of the CO chips, I liked their looks. Artificially created scarcity, whether by casinos through low issues (250 or less) or dealers sitting on boxes of chips, turns me off. Maybe these comment will stir up an answer.
