Since dice are a rather new addition to the active casino collectibles field, thought I'd pass on the results of the auction of the pair of Santa Anita Turf Club dice auctioned on eBay.

The dice were listed with a minimum bid of $10

There were 4 individuals who bid.

Lowest final bid was $20

Highest, and winning bid was $33

These were in just fair condition due to some crystallization, but I am convinced they are from Las Vegas. Discussion with another collector who has several pair indicates this condition is typical of the Santa Anita dice he has.

For comparison, a pair of Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn dice (considerably later) in excellent condition sold for $20.70.

More common dice are selling on eBay for from $3 to $10 a pair.
