I get a bigger kick out of your battles with Gene then with me. But, I understand what you are saying. I will add only that last night Alan called me on other matters and when I told him about the Esquire Chip he professed immediate surprise saying that he thought it had been removed.

But whether that is true or not, the basic premise still stands--we, including you, have an obligation to the Club to give info to the authors of the now several texts on chips. If they do not make a change or correction despite reliable information then I think it appropriate to post an objection to the source.

I trust you understand that I am a good friend of Alan and a friend [I hope] of both Michael and Ernie but even if I didn't know them would still feel strongly that the Chip Rack is a remarkable addition to our collecting interests.
