Hi Gene, Johnny Nolan's gave me a similar response from the cage late last year when I asked if I could buy any of their $1 chips. They were supposedly all locked-up in the vault, and I couldn't buy them due to gaming regs. I could walk half a block to Lucky Lola's and buy their chips from the cage at face even tho' they'd removed all table games. I was, as was anyone who asked, able to buy Palace (what were at the time 'retired chips') casino $1 and $5 chips from the cage even tho' they went table-less for some time. I can still buy worn Jubilee $1 chips at the cage for face even tho' they removed their only poker table several months ago (poker tables are the only place that $1 chips are used in CO). ...if I'd been told the truth buy both Nolan's and Maverick's, I shouldn't have been able to (and I still can) buy "obsolete" chips from two of these other casinos. I want to find out who has been lying to me.
