Richard,
Here is the scoop on the Casino's in South Dakota. There is only real Casino's in Deadwood and a few (5 or 6) Indian Casino's scattered around the state. There are many other so called Casino's all over that are simply video poker machines. If you have one of these machines at the bar, you can call yourself a Casino. These are very limited and there are no chips at these places and not even tokens at all but a few. There are no real casinos in Rapid City. There are about 5 Indian Casino's, mostly on the Eastern edge of the State. The Casino's in Deadwood are not hard to find. Deadwood is a very small community, and the casinos are all very small and almost all of them are located within 4 blocks on the Main Street. Just what Casino's are open in Deadwood changes from week to week. Some close up for the winter. THere are quite a few that now have slots only. It is kind of like the Colorado Communities except much smaller in general, and not as many. If you have other specific questions let me know.
Talk to you later.
