Mel,
Please get off of that "poor little old me" crap; it doesn't fit your personality. In addition, you are not fooling anyone with that collector/dealer arguement. You like to label all collectors as some sort of dealer because they trade or sell their duplicates - I don't buy it.
In addition, you make the decision to do a show. I can't help you have to haul your inventory. That's your choice - If it's too much work don't do the show.
I have never heard your partner Armin complain about hauling his inventory.
The real issue is collectors did not have a chance to obtain the CC & GTCC Orleans chip for their collection. I don't have the slighest idea what all the other "bull" is about. You may be tired of "dealers" getting the blame - but I know very few real collectors who buy more than a couple of any new release.
It is always easy to shift the responsibility to others. People have been doing it from the begining of time.
I am not saying greed by collectors is not real - it is. However, since most collectors do not make their living selling chips and dealers do; it is self evident where the large part of greed is in this hobby. To try to tell the world something different will, in my opinion, not float. Look for the profit motive and you will generally find the greed.
Best, Jim
