Archie (and others)-In my opinion you did nothing wrong and no apology is required or appropriate. I don't see any difference between a chip aquired by someone for $0 being offered for sale (particularly at auction, where by definition the sales price will reflect what the buyer believes is the value of the chip to him)and a chip acquired for $5, 10, 25 or whatever face value and then being sold above that. Respectfully to DonA(whom I gladly paid above face for the Berle chips as I couldn't possibly get to AC myself to get them), I would submit that using the criteria in his post, that the Berle chips were"meant" to be distributed at $20 a piece, and any higher price was galling. I really believe the key point in collectibles is that they HAVE NO intrinsic value, only that in the eyes of the beholder. The price of a chip is in direct proportion to the desire of an individual to possess it. There is no fair or just % markup. As Gene says, they will find their own level. Sorry this is so long, wanted to get this off my chest. It "galls" me that anyone would make you feel like you need to apologize, Archie. Mike
