A year ago the Club came up with the tentative idea of creating a foundation for purposes of creating a scholarship fund. I and several others donated money to get it kick started. Because of administrative complications [Archie can provide details] the project was abandoned. Why not reestablish a foundation for the purpose of creating a living history of our hobby--and in the process assist the Cutlers in resurecting their dream for the return of the Nevada Gold Museum? I would suggest that the CC&GTCC Board create an Ad Hoc committee to consider the ramifications and ask several of our leading lawyers to be a part of the study group.
