I understand what your saying...
1000 chips and probably that amount of people showing up at a convention, doesn't leave much room for extra chips.
I am not knocking dealers, I just feel that the chips should be for the collector who visited the show and they should not have paid more than face for them.
Collectors who were not at the show should buy them at the going rate. Not all dealers had chips and some where complaining.
BUT.. there were dealers there that had a lot more than 4 chips and they had no problem selling them at $8.
That is my problem. I don't feel collectors who traveled to thier club's show should be held ransom by the same dealers they support through the year
