Hi Bob; Tracker signs are a big help when playing roulette. Back to back hits are more frequent than one might expect.., as these tracker towers point out. Many players routinely throw a chip on the number that came up the previous spin.... looking for that back to back hit. Personally, I like to follow the same color from the previous spin. Many, many times the tracker tower will show 8, 10, 12 times or more in a row the same color.... then it will switch to the other color for many multiple spins. If you are in on the run from the beginning, that is; change your bet when the color changes, you can make a lot of small hits at even money. Where you get killed with this system however is when the color alternates back and forth between red and black. The tracker towers will illustrate this vividly.
Roulette is a relatively "dead game" in Vegas compared to A.C.. Very seldom is there any action going on at these tables. Dealers at roulette tables in Vegas stand around with their arms crossed most of the time for a lack of players. In A.C. there is always action at the tables. At the Taj Mahjal, they have something like 18 roulette tables.... all in the same pit.... and three tables in their high roller pit. On many a Saturday night, you can't find an empty seat. Quite a different roulette atmosphere in A.C. than Vegas. On weekends, all A.C. tables are $10 and $15 minumums (and up) at the larger properties. A $5 table is rare Friday to Sunday.....except maybe at Claridge and at NO TIME can you purchase rulette chips for less than $1 in A.C. at any property....., even mid-week.
Don't believe they offer roulette in Colorado... at least they didn't last time I was there about three years ago. Archie
