Marv; Thank you for making this information publicly available on this BB. I think you did the right thing. An educated consumer is the first line defense in potential rip-offs such as this situation presents itself to be. My suggestion would be to list them.... as a matter of information, but don't make any differentiation in price or put a tag of "scarce" or "rare" on possibly fabricated outter ring varieties.
As an aside; I think one of the major reasons that the silver strikes have all but disappeared from Atlantic City casinos is because of the .999 fine silver inscription on the outter ring..... which is not silver at all. Only the center portion of these tokens are actually silver. This is where the ".999 fine silver" stamping should be placed, but that takes away from the area of the design. This is (and has been for some time) very misleading. I believe that Gaming in A.C. may have received several complaints about this deception and may have acted accordingly. Archie
