Hi Jim ----- I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me how, under the Nevada gaming regulations (which specifically provide that casino chips and tokens "are NOT the property of anyone other than the licensee"), ANYone can legally remove ANY chip from a Nevada casino. Please note, per the Nevada Gaming Commission, that the regulation involved (12.060) does NOT apply to roulette chips. It is reasonable to conclude, based on the regulations, that it is as much a theft to remove a blackjack/poker/baccarat chip as it is to remove a roulette chip. In essence, the State of Nevada has said, no matter what the casinos might like, that they canNOT lawfully transfer ownership of a chip to any other person (including players/collectors). That being the case, the removal of ANY chip from a casino is a theft. Can any of you Nevada casino types explain the regulations in some other way?? ----- jim o\-S
