Archie, Bob, Jerry and whoever else takes roulettes
I find it very interesting the subject always comes back to the roulette chip, its history and all the other window dressing. However, you fellas ALWAYS IGNORE how these chips are obtained. Like it will go away if no one talks about it. Yeah, right!!!
I had a nice discussion with Steve Soden at the convention. I hope he posts his opinion on this BB for all to read. I am sure most will find his position and the position of the casino he works for worthwhile reading.
Archie, you can talk that crap and maybe even convince "new" collectors how important "preserving gaming history" is by stealing roulette chips but many others know what your purpose is. It is to make a "buck". Selling them for $3.00 or $4.00 dollars or whatever the market will allow you to make. Fine example you set for ALL club members!!!
Bob G., For the last two years you take great pleasure in "busting" me on subjects you know I am sensitive about. You jerk my chain - and I like an idiot respond to your posts. <LOL> I do admit it often is fun, but this subject really divides collectors like no other. Perhaps we can find another subject to stimulate the discussion on the BB and leave roulettes alone. Just a suggestion!<G>
Jerry B. - People tell me YOU are the "King" of the roulettes thiefs. You put people like Archie and Bob to shame will your ability to take roulettes. Perhaps you should run for President of our club or better yet - put a course on at the convention in the art of preserving gaming history. Who knows, you may convince enough people this type of behavior is acceptable. Look at Clinton's rating in the polls!!!! If he can do it involving lying certainly the roulettes takers should have an easy time of it with "stealing".<G>
