I have some old postcards of Fremont Street that show a sign in front of the
Golden Gate which says "Hotel Sal Sagev". I believe the Casino, however was always called the Golden Gate. Maybe your chip is a free drink token or some
other promotionaal piece from the hotel. Just a thought.
