Dear Director Turner,
Thank you very much for your help in resolving the problem with
"The Lodge". It was a nice piece of work on your behalf, and the chippers
will be very appreciative of your efforts. It is too bad that so much
activity by so many people has to occur to correct a problem like this
one. It is always amazing the way decisions are made by executives. This
one falls in the catagory of "I'll take my ball and go home". You have a
feather in your cap for this one. By the way, if you ever want an opinion
on any issues regarding chips, Gene Trimble, myself, or any of the others
on the Chipco listserv will be happy to thoughtfully respond.
Right now, if you are interested, the CC>CC will help you
establish a policy or resolution so that future activities such as this
one can be prevented. We realize that this is an issue of law, but perhaps
there is something we can do to help you. I am not sure if someone will
still represent chippers at this friday's meeting of the Colorado Gaming
Commission. They might do it anyway, but if we can be of service let us
know. Hope to meet you sometime.
Sincerely,
Douglas (Doug) W. Knight
THIS IS A GOOD DAY FOR CHIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, Mr Turner has no control over sky UTE. Maybe they will take heed.
