Having been a chip collector for 8 years and a Net user for 8 months, I didn't even know what Mel was referring to as "P". As I have learned , information is always valuable, but may not be needed now. After all, there are over 2 million links you can go to, so if you don't like one don't use it. The recent thread on scanning is going to get me over the hump of having my scanner sitting in the corner gathering dust. The large file size was stopping me from posting pictures. Just a note. If anyone is considering a digital camera, look at the Sony Mavica-fd5. To me it makes the most sense by storing your pictures on a floppy 25cent disk with no cables or special memory packs. 5 of my friends have already bought one. They are a little pricey at $499.00 ( u can find for 469.00 on Net) but the features and design are excellent. Keep up the great work Chippers!
