Bob, Please take note that the MAILER is covering all costs associated with their mixup. The returns and remails, the reprint of about 11oo bulk mail issues, the remailing of these bulk issues, the return costs of the first bolk mailing, and the special mailing of the auction pages and bid form are all being paid for by the mailer. The club is NOT responsible for any of these costs - as it should be.

Quite an expensive lesson for the mailer. Unfortunetly it also affects our members.

As a side note - it makes no difference to me as the Membership Chairman as to my workload whether the issues go out First Class or bulk. As someone mentioned, maybe a newer member wants to see what the magazine looks like before going First Class. Maybe also some member would rather save the money and are not in a hurry to get their issue. I realize some of these thoughts were not prompted by your note in particular but it's easy for me to answer several in one note.
