Jerry, what you might be finding are chips that were made during Chipco's "bad resin" period. I have some Gilpin $1 2nd anniversary chips that aren't worn, but they are severely faded. Chipco has made good with the casinos replacing full chip sets for free to make up for the bad resin chips, or so I've been told. The bad Gilpin chips where made in '94.
