Although I'm not of member of the CC&GTCC yet, "I WILL BE SOON" by the way. I thought I would bring this to the club & other collectors attention. I recently seen a $5.00 KING 8 chip #N1831 on E Bay auction #23166743 being represented as having a current market value of $40. to $50. I have the last issue of the Chip Rack and it has a Value Code of D $10. to $14. I havn't recieved my new Chip Rack yet, so I don't know the new Value Code. NOW, my question is..... Can a chip jump 5 Value Codes in 1 year. I know the King 8 is now another place and that makes the chip obsolete, however I think $40. to $50. is a bit high. The King 8 was one of my regular stops and if I'm not mistaken, this particular chip was still on the tables up till the last day. I am not trying to tattle on anyone, I'm just confused. So, if I'm wrong about this, somebody PLEASE correct me. By the way this chip brought $35.00 on the auction.
