Mike, I too have a rather extensive collection of these fantasy chips which I acquired when I first entered the hobby. I would guess that a great majority of chip collectors have some in their collections as well. The chips from the Pyramid Casino, as well as ones from the Casino de Mexico, Casino de Isthmus, Panama etc. are available at the Paul-Son store for $.65 each. In that regard they have a "value" of what you paid for them. They are different from the no cash value (NCV) chips that you see referenced in magazines. The NCV chips that were & are issued by various casinos do have a value to collectors & some of them carry a good price. Some are given out as incentives to play, others have a "free play" & some are sold when you buy WIN cards, but that's a whole other topic. Reading reference materials, such as guides, magazines & the club newsletter will speed up the learning curve. Enjoy the hobby, & post any question you may have about a chip on this & other BB. Someone always seems to come up with the answer to any question.
