The last organization I ever joined was 40 years ago (and that was by invitation of a very very wealthy uncle named Sam with the promises of free room and board and even included free travel) and swore I would never join anything again. However, I would veer from this promise and guarantee you another member if offered a reduced introductory rate.

By the way, in case some of my well-to-do fellow chippers are unaware, the welfare checks should be received within a few days, so if the offer was introduced immediately, I could send a check out before I use it on nonessentials such as food.
