I am not a Silver Strike collector. I started but had to draw the line somewhere. Most Nv casinos want you to play the machines to get them. Most will trade them at the cage for the ones you need to complete sets.
Some casinos will not let you trade them, including the one I work at. It is a matter of casino policy.
There is not much profit in selling SS's. If I remember right when I designed and ordered ours, they cost over $9 each. The casinos profit comes from the machine play.
Keep in mind, the SS's were not made for us originally. They were originally designed for tourist's to take home as souvinirs. The casinos went fishing and the collectors got hooked.
