To answer your specific question, the 10th Anniversary, 6th Annual National Convention of the Casino Chips & Gaming Token Collectors Club will be held on August 13-15, 1998 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. All kinds of casino collectibles will be offered at more than 90+ dealer tables....plus 12 exhibit tables... the largest show of this type in the world. There will be an Early Bird Reception on Wednesday evening with a swap session to follow later on the same evening. The hours of the show are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday the 13th; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday the 14th; with an auction at 6:30 p.m. Friday eve.... FOR CLUB MEMBERS ONLY! On Saturday, the hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.... but sometimes the dealers begin to wrap up earlier, especially if they have airline travel plans to get back to their home states. The convention is open to the public... there is a $2 admission charge, which is refundable if you join the club. Our annual meeting will be held on Thursday evening this year. The Saturday morning meetings didn't draw too many members, so the officers are trying something different this year.. Hope you will be able to attend.
