Gene, Possibly my term "ripped off" was too harsh and not used in the proper context. As I later recounted, I do not blame dealers for asking for whatever they which. I guess I was just expecting a different sort of atmosphere at the show I attended last Sunday. I was under the impression it was going to be a trading show but it turned out to be a dealer's show, with people more interested in selling than trading.

I didn't realize that these people were paying for the tables at these shows. Knowing this now, confirms my suspicions that the people at the shows MUST ask for inflated prices in order to possibly break even, no less make a profit.

I have no intention of berating anyone's occupation. I. more than ever, have appreciation for these dealers and what they are trying to accomplish.

This all the more reason that I feel these show are not for people such as me. My confirmation still is solid. I do best with the net.
