Consider keeping the chips in the car with you rather than the trunk. With the A/C on, it should be considerably cooler. If you stop into a casino for a few hours, cover the chips with something and try to park in an indoor garage.

I live about 10 minutes from you in Boca and have a a litho ruined because I left it in the car for a few hours.
