I too am a subscriber to National Gaming Summary. It is an excellent source of gaming information, but man is it expensive!

For the last year I have been using another source for my gaming information and it has proven to be reliable enough that I will let my NGS subscription expire this time. It is an online news service called NewsHound. There are a load of options, but in general it works like this.

You create one or more "hounds" that are actually keyword searches. You give a weight to words and phrases and decide whether they should or shouldn't be in the new article. Then, newshound searches all the news sources you specify all day long and sends you the articles that fit your specifications. I get 10 to 20 articles a day concerning gaming and it only costs $7.95 a month. The nice part is that I get the articles in my email all throughout the day. I don't have to wait until Monday for them.
