To Everyone,
Obviously some of you have misunderstood what I was saying. Being Polish - it is difficult to get my point across the first time.<g> I am not against information or the sharing of information. What I am against is a handfull of people, here in Nevada, who use this freely disiminated information to try to corner the market on a closing casino. They sell the chips to everyone across the country at inflated prices under the guise of how difficult it was to obtain the chip.
I am also not against dealers who earn their living by selling chips. Afterall Doug Saito is one of my closest and dearest friends. I am not blind - I see what individuals are asking for chips at the various shows I attend. How about $40.00 for a 25 cent Gold Strike simply because the place burned down. Is this wrong??? I Believe so!!!
Don't buy it and walk away - Yes!!! Let everyone else know - You bet!!! Can this guy ask $40.00 - Yes, it is his right. Is it moral??? NO, NO, NO, HELL NO! I believe our hobby is better off without these individuals. Just my opinion. Best, Jim
