Of all the gambing areas in the world, the most difficult to assemble a listing of is the UK (proper).

I've been trying (with the help of our UK members) to compile a listing of UK casinos for the last six years.

England's Gaming Act of 1960 legalized casino gambling in all of the UK...and, at that time, London became a huge gambling center. By the late-60s there were more than 120 casinos flourishing in London, while the rest of Great Britain boasted more than 1,200 gambling clubs (1,200) believe-it-or-not!

Now, to add onto this, in the years prior to, there have been several hundred illegal clubs operating.
