The roulette police will not convict you on the sportsbook chip. In the case of edgewater chip,It is not availible anymore, you could not buy them either.here's how I got mine. a few years ago , If you bought a racing form at the race book, they would give you a chip , for use to bet a "twin Q" which was $2. I know the Excalibur did the same. I 'm pretty sure that is discontuned.
