Steve -- it is readily obvious that the Nevada GCB does not now enforce its chip regulations "to the letter". They must know, of course, that the LE's are walking out the doors of the casinos. I suspect that, like many governmental regulations, they are enforced when it suits the purpose of the governmental agency involved -- and ignored when THAT suits their purposes.

Fortunately for us, at least for the moment, the casinos are happy to have us taking their chips (at least their regular chips, anyway), so there is no clamor to enforce the regulations. Of course, I am a casino outsider with a jaundiced view of local government. Maybe the insiders or others more familiar with Nevada casino operations have other ideas?? ----- jim o\-S
