Archie, I can't see this being a MYOB issue to any collector. As a relative newbie to this hobby, many of the chips I own are current (or where as of late last year), I take the decision by The Lodge on their limited edition GO set personally because Colorado is by far my largest area of interest. I'll be more than happy to address a letter of concern to whomever is responsible.

I'll also be more than happy to lobby area gaming commissions concerning this practice, should it become a trend....or even if it doesn't to prevent it from becoming one!

I have a number of The Lodge house chips....that took three trips to Black Hawk before they finally opened to get, and I should have been able to buy the GO chips at FACE, whether or not they were in a lucite holder....
