Hi "Newbie" Doug; Welcome to the club. Good to have you aboard! I would be happy to "shake your hand" (in the traditional standard manner) if you are planning to attend the convention next month. Nothing secret about us. Since you have told us that you hold membership #3782; simple math would indicate that there have been at least 3782 "newbie" members through our doors in the ten years that CC&GTCC has been in existence and #4000 will have been assigned before the convention is over... if it hasn't been already. Hardly not a "secret organization" as some have claimed. Yes, it's true... we've lost more than a thousand members over the years who did not renew their dues for one reason or another. Now, my challenge to you and to others is go out and recruit another collector that you know of who has not heard of CC&GTCC. That's the most effective way of spreading the word about CC&GTCC.... and keeps us from becoming a "secret organization" .... plus it doesn't cost anything.
