True story, I swear. There was a guy in my company in the Army who was always volunteering to dig latrines when we were out in the field. He used a trenching tool & dug the most perfect 6 by 6 foot hole you ever saw. After the second hole he dug & asked him what he did before he went into the service. I kid you not, he was a grave digger! This guy really took pride in his work. He wasn't from Texas, but I recall that his name ended in "ski" or "czx". The sergeant who was from Texas, couldn't pronounce his name, so he called him "alphabet".
