Here is a scan of the Caribe Hilton $1 chip that Doug found recently. It truly is a plain mold. It has the textured surface similar to that on a Paul-son inlay. It has sharply-defined inserts, atypical of a Paul-son product. It is a quality chip, not a cheap poker chip and I really wonder who made it. It's the only Caribe Hilton I've seen that does not have the stylized lettering for the hotel name. Even the one that John Benedict found without the "CM" logo has stylized lettering.
Anyone with any info on dating this chip? You might want to include it in your P.R. book, Archie, if it's not too late, and you don't already have it in your collection.
It's now in my collection <g>.
