Nice pix. But what a change a year makes. When I drove over in '97 and tried to get chips from the cage, I was rudely told in the Oasis that I should get them at the tables. It was 8:30 a.m. and one table of black jack was open, and a gentleman with black, green and red chips was playing 3rd. So I sat down on first base and bought $20 of reds. Wow! The guy was betting $25 a crack and I bet $5 a crack. Then he put $500 out and I guessed that he was not a fool but a counter, so I put $25 out and the dealer busted. The gentleman took his winnings, got up and left; as did I. I cashed in $40 winners; kept a couple of reds and departed happy with the thought that the rude people had gotten what they deserved. I think Virgin Islands and one other casino both compelled me to go to the tables while Players sold from the cage--and you know what happened to Players.
